SEASONAL SEATING GUIDELINES

Visitors

You are welcome to have guests over. Remember that if they are staying overnight, they must be reported to the reception.

Power

It is possible to turn the power on and off at your pitch by signing up for cwallet. This is done by receiving an email from the reception.
You can also do this by sending a text message or by using your Gammelbro chip card. (Ask at the reception)

Waste management

Waste stations have been set up around the site. Smaller waste must be sorted and deposited there. Larger waste can be dropped off at the container site behind the swimming pool. Follow the instructions on the signs and make sure you put your waste in the correct container.
Grass and hedge clippings must be deposited at the container site behind the swimming pool. We do not want it left by the roads or at the recycling stations on site.

Green license plate

It is possible to buy green license plates at the reception. A green license plate is required if you remove the plates from your vehicle.

POSITIONING OF THE CART

Fire distance
Minimum 3 meters to neighboring caravan/tent. Keep a distance of 1.5 meters to the middle hedge.
Shelter fences in the "3 meter zone" are allowed if they are separated from the trailer and tent.

Location in the square

In most cases, we recommend placing the trailer to one of the sides, at least 0.5 meters from the boundary. This makes the best possible use of space. Be aware that the way you choose to place your trailer may have consequences for your neighbors.
You can choose how you want your truck to face, whether it's north, south, east or west - as long as you keep the fire distance and don't disturb your neighbor :-)

LAYOUT OF THE SPACE

Campingreglementet § 15:
No buildings or free-standing antennas, flagpoles or other fixed structures may be erected on the unit site. The unit pitch may not be arranged in such a way that it permanently has an individual character.
It is not allowed to clear grass/soil from the site!
If you need solid ground under your standby tent, for example, this can be established using ground spikes that are drilled into the ground.
We accept step tiles in plastic, wood, stone and concrete. The color should be neutral and subdued, e.g. grey, black, brown. Common for these stepping stones is that they must lie on top of the grass. The stepping stones can be used both as a footpath and as a "floor" under the garden furniture.
Tiles laid before 2024 may be left as they are.

Solid base and wooden deck

When building a floor for an awning, it is permitted to have a wooden floor as far as the roof of the awning extends, i.e. you can have a solid floor in the porch of a standby tent if it is under the same roof covering as the awning. It is not permitted to extend the solid floor of the awning to form a wooden deck next to the awning.

Reading canopy

Reading awnings must consist of traditional canvas in neutral colors, with iron poles (no wooden poles).
All types of woodwork/structures are prohibited. Exceptions are floor construction under the tent.
It is important that the site can be quickly restored to its original condition.

Dog fencing

Dog fencing is OK. Keep it simple and low-key, such as a combination of awnings and a small wire fence. The use of woodwork or wooden garden gates is not permitted. Any gate in the fence must be made of steel and match the wire fence.

Storage tent

Applies to summer season pitches:
It is permitted to have a storage tent on the pitch, but keep a fire distance. The storage tent must be taken down in winter or storage must be purchased.
Applies to year-round pitches:
It is permitted to have a storage tent on the pitch, but remember the fire distance. On year-round pitches, a purchased tin shed that can be moved like a storage tent is allowed as an alternative to a storage tent. The color must be neutral and subdued and may not exceed 4 m2. Fire regulations still apply even if the shed is made of metal.

CARE OF THE SPACE

You are responsible for keeping your space clean and tidy.
Gammelbro's employees cut all the grass they can reach with their machines. We ask that you mow the rest of the grass yourself at regular intervals. It is possible to borrow a lawn mower and hedge trimmer at reception.
If you can't keep the grass cut yourself, make an arrangement with your neighbor or someone else who can help.
If your site has a hedge, we also ask that you cut it when it needs it, both in summer and fall. The hedge must be trimmed before leaving the site in September or October. Hedges may only be trimmed.
In general, no changes may be made to the site's vegetation without prior authorization.
All grass and hedge clippings must be deposited at the container site behind the swimming pool. We don't want it left by the roads or at the recycling stations on site.
It is recommended that lawn mowing and hedge trimming takes place between 9-12 or 14-18.

WHEN SPACE IS LEFT BEHIND

For winter (Summer season only)
In winter, we need workspace for hedge trimming etc. Therefore, all awnings, tool tents, windbreaks and poles must be packed away. Only those with a year-round or winter season pitch are allowed to leave things behind.
Winter storage of the trailer and/or floor and/or tool tent can be purchased. If you have purchased winter storage for your trailer, it is your responsibility to prepare it for winter storage. This means that the wheels must have air in the wheels and the support leg must be lubricated and in good working order.

When the space is cancelled

When you cancel your space, it's important that it's left in a clean and tidy condition for the next occupants.
We expect the site to be cleared of EVERYTHING, including ground, tent poles, pegs, old tiles and the like. Any holes must be filled with sand or soil.
If the space is not left in proper condition, we charge a standard fee of DKK 1000,-.
If the vehicle is sold, the space can only be included in the sale if Gammelbro has given permission.
